Junior Achievement South Western Ontario is inviting students in Grades 8 through 12 to World of Choices: Empowered Women, a free online career conference from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 24, 2022.

The event showcases impactful female-identifying leaders and provides students an opportunity to connect and explore through informative and interactive breakout sessions, panels and more.

World of Choices: Empowered Women is coordinated with the support of regional partner Business Education Partnership of Waterloo Region.

Students can register for free tickets here: https://hopin.com/events/jaswo_empowered-women.

“This event connects students directly with women working in a wide variety of careers – from welding to video game design to medicine,” said Karen Gallant, President and CEO of JA South Western Ontario, in a press release.

“The whole night is an incredible opportunity to get insight into a potential career path and the steps needed to get there – while gathering other inspiring tips along the way. We can’t wait to share this huge wealth of knowledge with students across the region.”

Empowered Women is an inclusive event that welcomes female-identifying and non-binary students as well as male-identifying or non-binary allies to join the conversations about being a female-identifying leader in an inclusive work environment.
