The Big Fix Thames River Poker Run in Chatham is taking place on July 16, 2022.
The event will be held located at the Thames Grove Conservation Area.
“Our Thames River Poker Run starts out at Thames Grove Conservation area, where you will paddle downstream, passing five local bridge structures along the way,” organizers say.
“At each of of these structures you will collect your poker chip and once you have completed that, you return back to Thames Grove heading upstream where you turn in your poker chips for your poker hand. The route is approximately 8.5 kms return and takes approximately two to two and a half hours to complete at a relaxed pace.
Organizers added: “This event is not a race and is family friendly. Can’t wait to see you all there.”
The event is a fundraiser for The Big Fix Grassroots Cat Rescue.
