Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 27, 2025, at approximately 7:49 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a physical altercation had occurred involving a 44-year-old female from Wallaceburg who had been assaulted.
The victim was assessed by paramedics but declined further medical attention.
A 41-year-old male from Chatham-Kent was arrested and charged with assault.
He was released with conditions and a scheduled future court date of July 7, 2025.
