Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 4, 2024, at 5:09 a.m., emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Fairview Line in Harwich Township.
Upon arrival, officers learned the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway.
The vehicle struck a hydro pole, causing significant damage.
As a result of the collision, the road was closed, and crews were deployed to repair the pole.
The driver, the lone occupant, was charged with careless driving.
