Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:14 p.m., police received information a vehicle had been stolen from outside a convenience store on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Officer arrived in the area and quickly located the vehicle.
Officer initiated a traffic stop but the driver failed to comply.
Officers deployed a tire-deflation device nd successfully stopped the vehicle.
The 25-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and flight from a police officer.
She was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
