Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 2:38 p.m., the Essex Ontario Provincial Police contacted the Chatham Kent Police, advising they had the man in custody.
The man was wanted on outstanding warrants as a result of a February 28, 2024, theft investigation in Wheatley.
The 30-year-old Wheatley man was transported to the Chatham Kent Police Service and charged with theft, possession of stolen property and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence.
He was released with conditions and a future court date of April 8, 2024.
