Pair of thefts from vehicles in Point Edward

OPP officials allege: On June 28, 2024, just after 11:45 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft from motor vehicle at a Venetian Boulevard, Point Edward address.

Just after 12 p.m., police received a second report of theft of vehicle on the same street.

It was determined that unknown individuals attended two separate addresses within the same area sometime during the overnight hours and gained entry to two vehicles.

Once inside, individuals removed passports, gift cards, tools, golf clubs and other items.

The Lambton County OPP would like to remind citizens to keep all vehicles and buildings locked and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Consider installing security features, such as increased lighting, cameras, or alarms.
