The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of a found canoe.
On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at approximately 5:54 p.m., a member of the Lambton County OPP attended a residence on St. Clair Parkway, St. Clair Township regarding found property.
Police attended the location and took a report of a found green canoe, recovered from the St. Clair River.
The only identifying marking on the canoe is lettering on the side stating ‘Made in Canada by WEDCO IND. LTD.
Attempts made to locate and identify the owner of the canoe have been unsuccessful.
The OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the owner of the canoe in hopes to return the found property to them.
