Mrs. Verna Coleman, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, a week before her 97th birthday.
Verna was born in Port Lambton and was a daughter of the late Jesse and Rose (Metevier) Sterling.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Coleman (1994).
Loving mother of Randy (Val), Mary Kay and the late Luanne (2001), Wayne (2010) and Douglas (2018).
Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Treffly, Harvey, Leo, Marie, Felix, Dora, Lela, Vina, Mae and Alma.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 27, 2024 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
