Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 49-year-old Windsor man was brought to the Chatham-Kent courthouse under a judge’s order from the South West Detention Centre. He had an outstanding arrest warrant and was taken into custody at the courthouse.

It was determined that a 19-year-old woman from St. Thomas was wanted on a catch-and-release warrant. She was arrested and released with a future court date of February 10, 2025.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 29, 2025, Chatham-Kent police officers located a 26-year-old Brampton man, listed as an unwanted person at Grand Avenue West in Chatham. He became aggressive and assaulted a police officer, who was not injured. He was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, and charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He was held for bail.
