Impaired driving and resist arrest charges laid in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 7, 2025, at approximately 10:25 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call for service that a 22-year-old Wallaceburg man was attempting to drive a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

He was arrested and charged with operating while impaired by alcohol, resisting a peace officer, and refusing to comply with demand.

The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was released with a future court date of February 24, 2025.
