Police training exercise being held at former St. Ursula School in Chatham on Wednesday

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has issued a public advisory, as a police training exercise is being held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Police officials said they wanted to inform the public that “a scenario-based training exercise” will occur at 426 Lacroix Street in Chatham, the former location of St. Ursula School.

“There will be a noticeable increase in police presence in the area throughout the day,” police officials say.

“Please do not be alarmed. This is part of a planned training initiative by the Chatham-Kent Police Service to enhance emergency response preparedness. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
