Impaired driving charges laid in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 12:06 a.m., police responded to a report of erratic driving on Michener Road in Chatham. Officers located the driver and determined he was impaired.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for breath tests.

A 37-year-old Chatham man is charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

He was released with conditions and a court date of June 16, 2025.
