Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Camden Township man has been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into a stolen motorcycle crash last year.
On July 12, 2024, police responded to a collision involving a motorcycle. The vehicle was later confirmed to be stolen. The 40-year-old driver was charged at the time with possession of property obtained by crime.
Police say the man failed to attend court on two separate occasions in June 2025, prompting additional charges and the issuance of warrants. On June 20, 2025, just after 1:30 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service located and arrested the man on Industrial Road in Thamesville.
He was taken to police headquarters and later released with a scheduled court date of July 24.
