Deprez, Richard Roger (Rick); a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Thursday , August 21, 2025 in his 64th year.
Born in Chatham, son of the late Roger and Zulma (Verstraete) Deprez.
Loving brother of Louise and Don Walker of Charing Cross, Deb and Don Casier of Thamesville and late infant brother David George Deprez.
Proud uncle of Michael Walker (Stephanie), Amanda Walker (Kevin), Erica Whitehead (Scott), Derrick Casier, Dara McQuarrie (Tyler) and great uncle to Kristian (Adam), Kaiden (Jacqueline), Breydon (Shelby), Daniel, Kylan, Ally, Sadie, Henry.
Greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In his younger years, Rick was an avid archery shooter in Chatham and Bothwell.
Rick enjoyed his car and his dogs Molly and Randy.
Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Riverview Gardens, where he resided.
He made many friends from when the doors opened.
The Deprez family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St, Dresden on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1-2:30 pm.
A funeral mass will following at 3 pm at St Michael’s Church, Dresden. Internment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Thamesville with reception to follow.
