The Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association is marking a major milestone this season as it celebrates 75 years in the community.
Players, coaches, volunteers and fans are being invited to join the festivities during opening weekend from Sept. 26 to 28 at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.
Organizers say the anniversary is a chance to honour generations of Lakers who have built the association over the decades, while also kicking off a new season of hockey.
The community is encouraged to pack the arena, wear red, white and blue, and take part in celebrating what organizers call 75 incredible years of minor hockey in Wallaceburg.
