Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Raleigh Township man is facing multiple charges after an intimate partner violence incident in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police said officers were called to a residence late Friday night. A 47-year-old man had attended the home of a 48-year-old woman and assaulted her. Police said he also threatened her and damaged items inside the residence.
The man was arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief under $5,000. He was taken to police headquarters, where he is being held for a bail hearing.
