Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 19-year-old Blenheim man has been arrested after police say he repeatedly breached conditions following a mischief charge earlier this month.
On Sept. 12, Chatham-Kent police responded to a complaint about damage to emergency lighting inside a community building in Chatham. Video surveillance identified the suspect, who was later charged with mischief under $5,000 and ordered not to attend or come within 100 metres of the property.
Police said the man returned to the location on two separate occasions. On Sept. 24, officers responded again after he was reported at the property. He was arrested following a vehicle stop and charged with failing to comply with conditions.
He was released from custody with a future court date set for Oct. 29.
