It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Anne Roswell, who passed away peacefully at her home in Dresden on October 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 6, 1947, in Quyon, Quebec, Florence was the eldest of eight siblings. From a young age, she carried a deep sense of care and responsibility for those she loved—a quality that defined her throughout her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who placed her family at the heart of everything she did. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved son Eric, daughter-in-law Nadine, cherished granddaughters Elicia and Billie, and her adored great-grandchildren Carter and Hudson.
Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Roswell and her first son William Roswell, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Dresden Legion from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to share memories and celebrate a life well lived.
Her love, laughter, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
