Impaired driving charges laid after rollover in Plympton-Wyoming

OPP officials allege: A 20-year-old Wallaceburg resident is facing impaired driving and dangerous operation charges after a two-vehicle rollover earlier this week.

Lambton County OPP responded to the collision on London Line near South Plympton Road just before 9 p.m. on Oct. 8. No injuries were reported.

Following an investigation, police charged the driver with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and dangerous operation.

A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment were issued.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on Nov. 18.

Police remind motorists to plan ahead and never drive impaired. Anyone who suspects an impaired driver is urged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
