Marion Delores Kerwin (nee Thibodeau), surrounded by her family, is now reunited with her beloved husband James ‘Jimmy’ on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Loving Mother of Dan (Penny), David (Becky), Cathy (late John Stavoff), Pat (Barb), Marylee (Larry Brooks), Matthew (Lina) and Sarah/Sally (Lorne Dietrich).
Marion was a fun loving and cherished grandmother, often being found making snow angels, playing cards or just spending time with her 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Tuffield and Mary (Bechard) Thibodeau and survived by her loving sister Joan Stratton.
Marion has now joined her sisters at the poker table ready to play the next hand with Theresa LaPointe, Dorothy Crawshaw, Eileen Bishop, Betty Bishop, Kate Spencer, Marjorie Johnston and Margaret Gauthier.
She is also predeceased by James’ siblings Mary Ann Letourneau, Joseph, Charles, and Kathleen Lucier. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and large extended family. Marion was a longtime member of the CWL, having received her 70 year pin.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
Her Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 10am from Our Lady Help of Christians Church with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Lambton.
