Mr. Peter Cameron Ironside, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Site on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Orillia, On, was the son of the late Clifford (Red) and Mary Ironside.
Peter will be deeply missed by his children, Haley (Mat), Cameron and Daryle (Kelly), his grandchildren Carter, Cayden, Taylor, Oliver, Felix, Evie and Linus. Caring brother of Cathy, Michael, Allison (Eric) and the late Clifford (surviving Neil) and Leslie. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
He will be remembered for his humor and storytelling. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, golfing and playing cards. Music was a life long passion for Peter, he loved playing drums and continued to do so even in his final days, as well as playing and building cigar box guitars.
He is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
