Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A traffic stop on Princess Street South resulted in multiple charges and the towing of a vehicle Tuesday evening.
Chatham-Kent police stopped a vehicle on February 3 shortly before 6:30 p.m. During the investigation, officers determined the 47-year-old driver was operating a vehicle while under a valid driver’s licence suspension. Police also found the vehicle to be unsafe, improperly plated and lacking proper documentation.
The driver was issued several summonses related to the violations, and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Police are reminding motorists to ensure they are properly licensed, insured and driving vehicles that meet provincial safety standards.
