Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 50-year-old Chatham man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant related to a probation breach and assault investigation.
Police say the accused violated a probation order on July 14, 2025, by attending a health facility on Grand Avenue West without authorization. During the incident, he allegedly became verbally aggressive, made threats and raised his fist in a threatening manner toward a security officer.
He was previously charged and released but failed to attend a scheduled court date, resulting in a warrant.
On Feb. 21, 2026, officers located and arrested him on Lacroix Street. He was released with a future court date of March 3, 2026.
