Two charged with trespassing after entering Chatham home

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two Chatham-Kent men have been charged with trespassing following a break and enter investigation in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to a report on Taylor Avenue at about 3:41 p.m. on March 14.

Investigators determined that a 54-year-old homeowner who had recently evicted two individuals from the residence attended the property to check on it and found the pair inside the home.

Officers attended and arrested a 45-year-old man and a 28-year-old man from Chatham-Kent.

Both were issued Provincial Offence Notices for trespass — enter when prohibited and were released.
