Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 32-year-old Chatham man has been charged following an assault that left another man with minor injuries.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service says officers responded to Edgar Street at approximately 10:48 a.m. on March 26, 2026.
Police allege a 61-year-old Chatham man was pushed from behind, causing him to fall to the ground. He sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
The accused was arrested and charged with one count of assault.
He was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 28, 2026.
