Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a 39-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after an incident on Wellington Street West.
Police say officers responded around 3:40 p.m. on April 9 to a report of an unwanted individual at a property.
Investigators determined a male had defaced the exterior wall of a building. Officers located a suspect matching the description walking away from the scene.
Further investigation revealed the accused was in breach of a court-ordered condition not to attend within 100 metres of the location.
He has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with an undertaking. The accused was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a court date of July 8, 2026.
