Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 32-year-old man from Blenheim has been charged after an assault inside a residence on Marlborough Street.
Police say officers responded April 11 at about 8:42 p.m. and learned a 28-year-old man had been assaulted by his roommate. The accused allegedly entered the victim’s room and struck him multiple times in the head while he was in bed.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to hospital for assessment.
The accused was charged with assault and later released with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2026.
