The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has approved more than $1.5 million in capital projects to support renovations and site improvements aimed at maintaining safe and welcoming learning environments.
Board officials say the investments are part of its annual capital renewal strategy and are funded through allocations from Ontario’s Ministry of Education.
Approved work includes rear asphalt and yard improvements at St. Anne Catholic School, estimated at $373,844, as well as a partial roof replacement at St. Matthew Catholic School, estimated at $1,217,814.
Additional capital projects are expected to be brought forward to trustees for consideration at a regular board meeting in May.
For the 2025–2026 school year, the board has approximately $6.8 million in capital funding available for projects.
Officials say the investments reflect the board’s continued commitment to maintaining safe, modern and inclusive learning environments.
