Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 61-year-old Chatham man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop on Baldoon Road in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers stopped a vehicle at about 8:14 p.m. on May 13.
Police said the investigation determined the driver was suspended from driving, the licence plates attached to the vehicle were not authorized for that vehicle and the vehicle was uninsured.
As a result, the man was arrested and charged with two counts of operation while prohibited, stemming from previous offences in 2022 and 2025.
Police also issued four Part 3 summonses for driving while suspended, use plate not authorized for vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The accused was released with a court date scheduled for June 23, 2026.
