Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig says the school will remain closed for the remainder of the week due to ongoing work at a water treatment facility.
In a message to families dated Wednesday, May 13, 2026, school officials said they received an update from the water treatment facility indicating required work would not be completed in time for students to return before the weekend.
As a result, the school will remain closed until Tuesday, May 19, following the Victoria Day holiday on Monday.
School principal Craig Lindsay issued the update to families, thanking them for their understanding and support.
