Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 45-year-old Chatham man is facing an assault charge following an intimate partner violence investigation in Chatham.
According to the Chatham-Kent Police Service, officers were contacted on May 18, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m. regarding an assault at a north Chatham residence.
Police said a woman had been pushed by a man and did not sustain physical injuries.
The man was arrested for assault and transported to police headquarters.
He was later released with a future court date.
