OPP officials allege: A 42-year-old Milton resident is facing multiple charges following a drug trafficking investigation by the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police.
Police said the investigation began in April and culminated on May 20 when members of the Lambton County Community Street Crime Unit, assisted by other OPP units, conducted a traffic stop on St. Clair Parkway.
A search warrant was later executed at a residence in Corunna.
Investigators seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, along with Canadian and U.S. currency and other property believed to be connected to the investigation. Police estimated the value of the drugs, currency and seized property at more than $29,000.
The accused has been charged with possession of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer and driving while under suspension.
The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on July 8.
Anyone with information about criminal activity is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
