Sarnia man charged following Petrolia business break-in investigation

OPP officials allege: A Sarnia resident has been charged in connection with a break-in at a Petrolia business.

Lambton County OPP said officers responded to a report of a break and enter at a business on Petrolia Line at about 1:10 a.m. on May 15.

As part of the investigation, members of the Lambton County OPP Community Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a Sarnia residence on June 16.

An 18-year-old Sarnia man was charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, mischief causing damage to property and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to answer to the charges in court at a later date.
