Chatham woman turns herself in on criminal harassment charge

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham woman has been charged with criminal harassment after turning herself in to police.

On Wednesday at approximately 10:41 a.m., members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a complaint of criminal harassment. Through investigation, police developed reasonable grounds for the charge against a 40-year-old Chatham woman.

On Thursday at approximately 1:28 p.m., the woman attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and agreed to turn herself in on the charge.

She was arrested without incident and released on an undertaking with conditions, with a future court date set for Dec. 15, 2026.
