Oil Springs woman charged after breaching release order in Thamesville

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 38-year-old Oil Springs woman is facing charges after she was found in breach of a release order in Thamesville on Tuesday.

The woman had been released on May 8 with conditions not to attend a residence on Victoria Road, Thamesville, and not to communicate with the individuals who reside there.

Chatham-Kent police attended the residence at approximately 10:45 a.m. Tuesday to check compliance with the order and located the accused inside, contrary to a condition of her release.

She was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order. She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she is held pending a bail hearing.
