The Chatham-Kent Public Library is partnering with Just Breathe Yoga for a children’s program called “How-To Be a Yogi” on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chatham branch.
Elementary school-age children are invited to learn the basics of yoga through poses, movement and breathing activities. The library says the practice can help children build balance, focus, mindfulness and self-confidence.
Registration is required and can be done by calling 519-354-2940, emailing cklibrary@chatham-kent.ca or sending the library a Facebook message. Participants are asked to bring a mat, towel or blanket.
The session is part of the library’s larger “How-To” Festival. Additional programs for all ages are listed at ckpl.ca/ProgramCalendar.
