Another candidate is in the municipal election mix in Ward 6 – Chatham.
Darrin Canniff has filed his papers and will be running for one of the six seats in Chatham-Kent’s biggest Ward.
Canniff, a director with Union Gas, is no stranger to public service, having been the founder of the Festival of Giving and serving as chair of the United Way campaign back in 2006.
Canniff puts the number at 11, for who has filed their papers for council in Ward 6. They include:

– Ed Broad
– Penelope Duchesne
– Mark Holman
– Kirk Hooker
– Brandon Houston
– Aaron Hurst
– Derek Robertson, incumbent
– Chad R. Sauve
– Eric Allen Schrank
Election Day is Oct. 27.
