Shirley Ann Peters, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, died peacefully at the Wallaceburg Hospital on Thursday, September 04, 2014 at the age of 70.
Shirley is the daughter of the late Roy and Helen (Kiyoshk) Smith.
Beloved wife of Simon Peters.
Loving mother of Elliott, Russell and Simone Peters and the late Connie Mae and Stacey Peters.
Dear grandmother of Janell, Carson, Alex, Sage, Miigwaans, Danielle and Jazlyn and great grandmother of Darian and Dontae with one on the way.
Sister of Stewart and Darryl Smith, Diane Belleau, Louise Johnson, Sandra Sahguj and Kevin and Barry Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The funeral will be celebrated at Walpole Island United Church on Monday, September 8 at 2 PM.
Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
