The Chatham-Kent Police Service is looking for the public’s assistance with identifying a man.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 shortly before midnight, the man attended an apartment complex in Chatham and gained entry into the building through a woman that he had previous telephone contact with.
The man was in the apartment building for a very short period of time, during which time he assaulted the woman.
She did not sustain any injuries as a result of the assault.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is releasing photographs of the man hoping that a member of the public may recognize him.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crime Unit at (519) 436-6640 or the Communication Centre at 519-352-1234. Anonymous callers may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
