The Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League is set to hand out their annual awards.
Each team in the league nominated a player for the MVP, rookie of the Year, best defenceman and most desire awards
The Dresden Kings nominated the following players:
– Dillon Liberty, MVP
– Ross Krieger, rookie of the Year
– Wade Esselment, best defenceman
– Derrick Van Every, most desire
The Wallaceburg Lakers nominated the following players:
– Lucais Meyskens, MVP
– Brendan Ritchie, rookie of the year
– Jacob Theoret, best defenceman
– Connor Johnston, most desire
An awards banquet will be held on Monday in Blenheim.
