Suspicious person call leads to arrest in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege that around 5:30 p.m. on Monday night, officers responded to the report of suspicious man sitting on the front porch of a residence on Minnie Street in Wallaceburg.

The intoxicated man was identified by police and arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply and failing to attend court, police say.

The 41-year-old Wallaceburg man was released early Wednesday morning when sober pending a future court date of June 27, 2018.
