Volunteer members of the community are taking the field to play a friendly game of baseball against the Wallaceburg Wolves on Wednesday, September 5.
The game is being held at Kinsmen Park in Wallaceburg and will get rolling at 6 p.m.
There will also be a barbecue held at the event.
“YourTV Chatham our presenting sponsors will be onsite recording the action,” Community Living Wallaceburg officials say.
“Greg from 99.1 will be doing play by play long side Aaron Hall from Sydenham Current. This is a great community event you don’t want to miss. There will be lots of water and shade tents. Bring your own chair.”
Aaron Vandorsselaer, who has been coaching the Wolves for over 10 years, will be on hand again this evening.
