Earth Day songs at the Civic Centre

Earth Day Singers 2

More than 100 children from grades one, two and three at King George VI Public School in Chatham visited Chatham-Kent Mayor Randy Hope today to sing songs to mark Earth Day.

The children were helped with their visit by music teacher Cristina Perini and municipal staff from Recreation Facilities and Waste & Recycling Services who, in co-operation with the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 12, invite volunteers to participate in the CK Pitch-In for Clean Sweep (April 20-26).

See more information on the municipal website at www.chatham-kent.ca.
