The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman in connection with a domestic disturbance earlier this month.

On May 2, 2014, a man and woman engaged in a verbal argument at their residence in Wallaceburg.

During the argument, the woman threw their internet modem onto the floor causing it to shatter.

As the man called 911, the woman struck him in the arm in an attempt to knock the phone out of his hand.

The woman left the residence prior to police arrival.

The man did not require medical attention.

Yesterday afternoon, police located the woman on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg and she was arrested.

The 30-year-old Walpole Island woman has been charged with assault and mischief under $5000.

She was released with conditions pending a future court date.
