A former Wallaceburg priest is heading to prison.
After being found guilty of three historic sex-related crimes, 57-year-old Gabriele DelBianco was handed a four year prison sentence today (May 14) in a Sarnia court room.
Back in February, DelBianco was found guilty of gross indecency and two counts of sexual assault.
All the charges date back to the 1980s and involved four teenage girls.
The charges were laid in April of 2011.
DelBianco was associate pastor at Our Lady Help of Christians in Wallaceburg from 1981 to 1984, and held other positions across Ontario.
