Wallaceburg’s Joe Perry is gaining some international attention from the Tough Mudder nation.

Now a veteran of the grueling obstacles designed by the British Special Forces, Perry has been featured on their website with a first-person account of his personal Mudder history.

“February 29, 2012. That’s the day my life changed. The importance of that date ranks right up there with my marriage, the birth of my children and even my very own birth. It’s the day I discovered Tough Mudder,” Perry wrote on the blog.

Perry has also been recognized for his Tough Mudder achievements, by being inducted in the Wallaceburg Sports Hall Of Fame last year.
