From clothes and blankets to “super baby bibs”, Goose Feathers in Wallaceburg has you covered for baby products.
“We have their lovely baby coats including the best selling one Lamby Coat, there are lamb slippers that match the coat, little lamb blankets, there are rattles and all sorts of things that go with it. We also carry the monkey,
the little girl puppy, the little boy puppy. We don’t try to bring in the whole line as many will not likely be of interest to our customers. This is an excellent quality product, many people with recognize it.”
Mahoney said another line they carry is Yakety Yak.
“Our best selling item in baby is their super kid bib,” she said. “We can’t keep them in stock, we keep selling out.”
Mahoney added: “We have the Dragon’s Den, little infamous Pee Pee Tee Pee for the little boys… they are a Canadian product. We do have a sense of humour here.”
Mahoney said Goose Feathers also has Babe Bean, which is a Canadian company as well.
“They have high quality blankets, the bamboo swaddling blankets, the little capes, and other blankets to pick from,” she said. “Also the Warm Buddies… we have the infant and the toddlers products in the Warm Buddies. They are the stuffed animals that have a little packet inside that warms up in the microwave. When the child cuddles with it, they can fall asleep faster. It`s actually used as a sleep therapy tool in many circumstances, it`s great for getting kids to either go to bed faster or easier, and certainly fall asleep faster.”
Mahoney said they also carry products for the rest of the family.
“We do have some beautiful picture frames as gifts,” she said. “Two of my favourites when a child is born, for a Grandma” and my absolute favourite says ‘God danced the day you were born’.”
