On Sunday June 22nd 2014 at around 11 p.m. Chatham-Kent Police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated person laying on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Police located a 29-year-old woman who was arrested at the scene.
During the arrest the woman resisted and assaulted one of the officers who sustained minor injuries.
As a result the woman was charged with being intoxicated in a public place, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer and later released with a future court date.
