Do you want to build a snowman?

Well this Friday night in Wallaceburg, C-K Recreation is encouraging local youth to use their imaginations to possibly do just that.

The song – “Do you want to build a snowman” – will also be blaring from the sound system, as the hit movie Frozen will be aired on a 20-foot screen outside on the football field at Wallaceburg District Secondary School.

Wallaceburg resident Megan Sealey, an intern student with C-K Recreation this summer, said the Movie In The Park event is something fun for the whole family.

“It’s a free community event,” Sealy said. “We’re excited to bring something to the community for Friday night.”

Sealy said the Play Rangers will be on hand at the event, who bring toys and games for the kids to play with.

“They encourage kids to be active and to use their imaginations through play,” she said.

The family activities will be running from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“There will be lots of free stuff,” she said.

During that time, free swimming will also be taking place in the Wallaceburg and District Pool.

The movie will start at dusk, around 9:20 p.m.

The Movie In The Park events are happening all summer long, including in Dresden on July 25.
